We are proud to offer Allied Health services for your convenience. Visiting the clinic once a week, please contact our reception staff to make an appointment:

Allied Health
PATHOLOGY

We offer blood tests and pathology collection through our 4Cyte Pathology collection centre on site. This service is available Monday – Thursday mornings from 8:30am to 1:30pm and Friday 10:00am to 3:00pm.

SURGERY PROCEDURES

At our clinic, we specialise in providing only the best treatment to our patients as you would expect from your local Doctor’s Surgery.
Some minor surgery procedures are done within our clinic, such as skin cancer checks and removal.
We can provide a recommended referral to a number of our recommended partners to suit your needs for other surgical procedures that may require specialist work.

APPOINTMENTS

Consultations are made by appointment with the Doctor of your choice. Urgent cases are seen by the first available Doctor.

If your appointment is not for a standard consultation, we would appreciate you letting the receptionist know so that extra time may be allowed. Due to the unpredictable nature of general practice consultations, the doctors may occasionally run behind schedule. We apologise for this inconvenience and will endeavour to keep you informed of any delays. Appointments can be made by phone or online via our booking client, Hotdoc.

LONG CONSULTATIONS

Some complex medical issues may take longer or require additional time. If you feel you require a longer consultation time than 15 minutes, please notify reception when making your appointment. Examples of these may be procedures, skin checks, multiple medical issues eg. combined with other medical issues, health plans, mental health plans and consultation, immunisation, diabetes checks.

You may be charged for additional procedures undertaken during the course of the consultation (e.g. ECG, respiratory function test, excision fee, cryotherapy). Our friendly reception staff are more than happy to provide an estimate of potential out of pocket costs for any additional services.

PRIVATE
For patients without a medicare card a standard consultation is $70. Work-related medicals not covered by medicare will attract a private fee.
 

Dr Nour charges a gap fee for some procedures and these fees are discussed with the patient in advance. For Dr Ali’s medicinal cannabis patients a fee of $150 is charged per application.

BULK BILLING
We offer bulk-billing for Pension card/Health Care holders and children under 18 years and for chronic disease management plans, certain vaccinations, mental health care plans. Fees vary according to the length and complexity of the service and are payable at the time of consultation. We accept cash, cheque, EFTPOS and all major credit cards. For those in difficult circumstances, exceptions may be made at the doctors’ discretion. Automatic Medicare rebates are offered through our EFTPOS terminal to take the hassle out of claiming rebates.

If you require a longer consultation, please tell the receptionist when you are making the booking.
Urgent medical problems will always be dealt with promptly.

Please complete and download the New Patient Form and bring it with you to your appointment.

FOLLOW-UP OF RESULTS
TEST RESULTS

Where blood tests or other investigations have been ordered, you will generally need to make a follow-up appointment to discuss the results. If the doctor is concerned about your results, the staff at the clinic will contact you to make an appointment.

AFTER-HOURS

Medical care is available on a 24-hour basis covered by Hello Home Doctor.  If you require medical attention outside our opening hours, please telephone 134 100 and you will be advised of current arrangements.
